How to use IPhone


About IPhone:

The IPhone is a program which allow the user an
an online talk/write with microphone and camera.
The program is Iphone version 4, and the
installation instruction are only for that version.

Download IPhone:

1. Press the version you want to download.
2. Download the file to temp directory:
---- Choose temp directory and press "Save".

On windows 3.x first you have to download
the extension file for 32 bit (32s) to temp
directory and to run the file.
After running the file you get a new
file: "setup.exe" in temp directory.
You have to run this file.
After that download the file:
"IPhone for windows 3.x".

Install IPhone:

1. Close netscape and run the file you
downloaded:
---- On windows 3.x press "File", "Run", "View".
---- On windows 95/98 press "Start", "Run", "View".
2. Choose the temp directory:
---- Press double click on "C:" and "temp".
3. Press double click on the file.
4. Press "Ok".
5. During the installation: type "Next".
In the window "User Information" type
your personal information.
In fifth line type "Kinneret".
In the window "System Information"
type "kinneret.co.il" in SMTP Server.
6. At the end of the installation an Install
License's window will appear, if you have
a license type it, and press "Install".
If you don't have license the
program will work for one week.

In order to get a license you have to order
it from the company which has the license
agreement in Israel.
The company is Grapfix multymedia by the

7. After installation you have to run the program:
---- On windows 3.x press the icon iphone from
program manager.
---- On windows 95 press the icon iphone from
the main screen.
8. Set defaults in IPhone:
* The program are built from two screens.
---- Go to the left screen and press "Chat Room"
---- Mark the option "Auto Join on Connect".
* Connect to IPhone:
---- Press "Public Chat Room" and choose from
the list name of a channel (eg. GENERAL 01).
In the bottom window press the name of
the user to whom you want to talk.

How to use IPhone:

---- Microphone test: In the right window
press "Audio" and "Audio Test".
---- Camera test: In the right window press
"Video" and "Self View".
---- Connect to IPhone: Press "Public Chat Room"
and choose from the list name of a channel
(for example: GENERAL 01), and in the
bottom window press the name of the
user to whom you want to talk.
